Finally I said "screw it" and with a ton of encouragement from the fella, I walked my butt to B&H and finally got myself that "big girl camera" I've been dreaming of. The Nikon D90.
Normally when I purchase anything of substantial value, I suffer from insane buyers remorse, even if I need it. This is the first time I can remember not feeling a single pang of guilt. It was meant to be.
So here is one of my first shots with the new toy and a renewed love for photography.
And big thanks to my godfather Don Hamerman for helping me make the right choice. You really should go check out his stuff. He's been at this a lot longer than I have.

I am so glad you got your camera! Congrats!!
You deserve it. I know it will be put to good use and bring you lots of inspiration.
LOL, I'm not sure Godfather would be thrilled with that "a lot longer" comment (I'm kidding, of course).
oh I am so happy for you! now you don't need to bring tapes with you just in case the button fell off from your old sony camera!!
Now isn't it time to put a Macbook Pro on your vision board? ;)
That's an awesome picture by the way! Have fun with your new toy!!
Congrats girl. I'm so happy for you. See what can come with positive thinking.
