I have seen this before too and they are awesome! It totally captures pictures the way we can't.
I would totally get a kite too but I would be afraid my camera would be hanging in a tree :-)
I used to make kites. I always wanted to put a camera on one of my kites, but I never really knew how. This looks pretty complicated to me, though, and I'm not sure I'd want to suspend a good camera 100 feet off the ground. I tend to crash my kites a lot! XD
The video is really interesting. I just wish it would play in sync for me. >.<
