Hooray! A new Dialogue from Design for Mankind and it's one of my favorite topics. Even though we all know that every artist suffers from a block every now and then, it's always great to know you're not alone.
I wish I could say I had a sure fire way of curing my own blocks, but I usually just end up moping until it's gone. Glad I have these gals to give me some tips!
Got your own tricks for battling "Artist's Block?" Please share!
I'm not great at getting past it when it strikes. Sometimes it's a day of looking at other people's stuff online. I used to make quick museum trips, never longer than a couple of hours. By then I'd be itching to get back to work. These days I'm apt to go into a mini cleaning fit, which is good because otherwise I'd never do any of that day-to-day stuff. Mostly, I guess I just got old enough to know that it's a cycle and it will come and go forever. So nowadays, I don't panic as much as I used to, thinking that I'd never have the urge or ideas to work on again.
