Etsy Wednesday - April Goes Green

Rolling Rock Glasses

Coca Cola Glasses

In celebration of this year's Earth Day (which happens this month on the 22nd) I'll be featuring recycled, recyclable, resuable...anything "green"...products from Etsy.  After all, this is one of the main reasons to buy anything from Etsy because so many items there are remade from something old or made to be reused rather than tossed.

When I found these incredible glasses from Nick Paul the Windy City Glassblower, my jaw just dropped.  First I got a little jealous because...well I want to make them too.  Then I wanted to own every single set.

Every glass you see in his shop was once a beer or soda bottle.  Each bottle is washed, heated and reformed into a safe drinking glass and because of the glassblowing process, each one is just slightly unique from the next.

You can snag an entire 6-pack of Rolling Rock for $60 or just two for $20.  The more unique pieces like those ice-cream float Coke glasses (above) are $25 for two.

You've got to check out this shop.  As well as the two pictured above, you can snag a set of Red Stripe glasses, Corona, Rogue Ale glasses with matching ice bucket, Absolut Vodka glass, and so on.

Love these! I think the Red Stripe might be my favorites. Nice find.
