Etsy Wednesday

I knew the very moment I saw this teapot that I just had to share it with everyone.  I'm not a big tea drinker but without a doubt, if I had the cashola for this right now, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.  I've genuinely never seen a teapot quite like this one or any of the others in Larry Watson's shop.

Larry has been working as a ceramic artist for 18 years and says on his profile, " I put the funky in functional." I couldn't agree more.  This one not funky enough for you?  I insist you check out his incredibly unique face series where he molds faces into the side of his work.

This pot, as well as the others, is made of the "strongest porcelain" and it's microwave and dishwasher safe.  The one pictured here can hold over 3 cups.

You can also view entire collections of his work on his website WatsonClay.com.

That is SUCH a cool teapot! I sweat, on Etsy you find the coolest things.

My favorite items are his blue teapot and the blue plate! If I didn't have a toddler at home I might just get one of these pieces!

Yeah, I really really wish I could buy some of his stuff. I don't have kids, but I do have cats. *sigh*

This is a tea party waiting to happen. I love it!
