Etsy Wednesday - IKA Bags!

Part of being a New York City gal is finding the perfect bag.  If you've ever visited or lived here, you probably have visions of women walking around with multiple bags (a purse, a gym bag, a shopping bag that's actually acting as a second purse, etc).  It's really hard to find something that's big, stylish, durable and affordable.

Next to impossible I'd say.

Of course, it's not just us city folk looking for an extra large, but wearable bag that doesn't look like a grocery tote.  We need them for the beach, diapers, yada yada yada.

So when these IKA Bags were pointed out to me, I knew we'd found a winner.

They're not only gorgeous, they're also made to last with triple stitching and strong cotton fabrics.  Some even have wood hidden at the bottom (like the orange one pictured above) for extra durability.

It's really hard to believe all this hard work goes into such an affordable bag.  Prices range from only $27 to $49!  Of course, you could also snag yourself a $6 to $14 wallet as well.

So seriously, no excuses this week.  You're pretty much destined to find one just right for you.  Treat yourself!

I love these bags! I had to check a couple of times to make sure I wasn't misreading the prices. I can't decide which I like best. I really like the cream color, but would no doubt make a mess of it quickly, so I'm leaning toward the orange. Or the black & white print.

Another great find!

I was in New York not too long ago with my aunt. She said she wouldn't be happy until she found a vendor to buy a new purse from. ^^
