Normally I see "DIY Recycling project" and think "Yeah right, this is gonna take 5 hours and a whole lot of stuff I don't have."  Then I stumbled across A Little Hut's recycling projects and they actually seem...doable. And in a reasonable amount of time too!

There's a handful of excellent projects but this hurricane cover is awesome.  A couple of cardboard tubes, some scissors, glue, couple sheets of paper, some tape and voila! 

Well, and a glass hurricane and candle of course.

Heck, there's an even simpler and just as pretty hurricane cover minus the cardboard tubes.  So get on it!
