My brother and I traveled to visit my Granddad in hospice this weekend. We haven’t seen him or Grandma in a long time, so it was a really nice reunion, even if surrounded by sad circumstances. I spent the rest of the weekend enjoying life with the other family I have here at home and doing a 1000 piece jig-saw puzzle because that is what I think one should do after such a visit.

i can’t get over that picture of grandma & grandad. 1. because i haven’t seen grandad in a few months and he looks so different. and 2. because you completely captured “them” in the most amazingly unobtrusive and honest light, it literally brought tears to my eyes.
Thanks so much for the absolutely lovely comments, Jace. We miss you over here and I’m happy I could bring them to you from afar.

Ry, I am a second cousin of your dad, living in San Diego. “Uncle Vernon and Aunt Norma” were such a cherished part of our lives, we enjoyed them so whenever we got together for Pepper family functions. Jacin said it perfectly – the picture of your grandparents tells an exquisite story. Thank you for sharing and recording such a beautiful moment. Thinking of you all : )
