Weekends are my busiest days of the week as a theater technician and all I could think about on Friday was of warmer days and blossoming flowers. Maybe it’s just because I was sick, but I’d swear it was the coldest weekend we’ve had all winter.
I realize now we’re not going to get any substantial fun snow this year and my brain is moving on to spring. I took the first photo (reprocessed for Friday’s daily creation) in Prospect Park sometime in very early spring one year and I want to go to there…
Saturday I watched, as usual, everyone relaxing and winding down for their days off. Sunday I could taste the end of my week as I waited for the busy. Today… I’ve barely gotten a single thing done and I’m quite alright with that.

Gorgeous pictures! I couldn’t work on the weekends so all of my power to you. I actually am missing my three day weekends so I’m thinking of switching to a four-day work week myself. Being a theater technician sounds like an amazing opportunity.

Thank you so much! 4 day weekend? Sounds DIVINE! I want in!
It’s true, being a theater techy and keeping my head afloat (financially speaking) all these years really has been special. And I have loads of time to work on the little things that excite me. But boy oh boy, what I wouldn’t give for a Saturday sometimes!

Did I ever tell you how much I love coming here? It feels like home, here. I’m so glad I found your place. xx
Well let me tell you something, missy… the feeling is mutual! Colours and Beyond is definitely one of my favorite places to go now. So glad I found you!
