Me Lately – Silks & Kale. Running & Walking.

melately I have been keeping myself busy lately!

I’m still putting up shots regularly over at Out the Bus Window. Check it out if you haven’t already! And follow if you’ve got a tumblr, wouldja?

I’ve been cooking at home a lot more and using fresh ingredients. I even posted a quick & easy recipe for those kale chips you see up there!

LOT’S of running has been happening.. and walking. I try and walk to work every day, and sometimes home. I even ran AFTER work on Sunday. Mind. Blown

And I’ve been meaning to take a class lately, so in interest of my recent push into healthy town, I signed up for a silks class. I can’t even describe how much fun it was! But damn were my arms tired. Yow!

I love being home. I love taking care of where I live. I love going out and getting rowdy and then coming back to home. I love that home is somewhere I can always come back to, somewhere I can hide, and somewhere I can relax.

Finally Finished: A Place for Out the Bus Window

I’m really excited to share with you my latest work in progress: Out the Bus Window. All photos here were taken with my phone (samsung sIII) from an NYC MTA bus window.

It’s been a long time since I had a creative project that genuinely made me smile and feel excited. In fact, part of me is bummed I don’t have to go to work today and so I don’t have to get on the bus.

Oh well, that leaves more time for my other crazy project I haven’t told you about… getting in shape. But that’s for another day.

Catching Up With You Over Catching Up With Pals

We had some pals over last night for wine, cheese and a spontaneous round of trivial pursuit. Gatherings like this simultaneously make me feel like a kid and a grown up. It reminds me of when my family had get-togethers and I always wanted to hang out with the adults. And now, as I’m doing something like decanting a bottle of wine (wtf?), I can’t help but feel like I’m just playing tea party. It’s awesome.

And hey look! They brought us flowers! Thanks pals!

2 1 This week is going to be all about catching up here and also preparing to send ATs away for 2 months. I’m not at all looking forward to it, but I’m definitely going to make the most of it…

It’s Snowing! 8 Shots Around My Neighborhood This Morning

Can you believe it? I was just calling it quits on the winter and moving my brain into springtime and BLAMMO! Finally some snow.

Being the loon that I am, I threw my boots and jacket on over my pajamas and raced outside for some shots. It’s a good thing I didn’t waste any time, ’cause now it’s all slush. I took all of these within a 3 block radius of my house. I’m still thawing out… 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
