Old News (by RGP)

Today I took a much needed walk through the park.  I've been pretty bad about getting out of the apartment lately.  Not because I'm a shut in, I just get on a roll and the next thing I know it's night and the domino playin' guys next door are treating me to some second hand ganja.  For real, 2 floors up and it's like they're smoking in my offce.  Hey, atleast it's free.

Anyhow, I found this newspaper sitting adhering itself to a bench.  I particularly enjoy the word 'destiny' in the middle there.  Can you see it?  It's right below 'determined'.  Do I need to mention how very 'aligned with the stars' that is?

Hey, did you know the sun shines during the day and it's actually kinda nice? Who knew?

GREAT shot. and of course those words were aligned with the stars. that is why you took the time to notice it in the first place. i love it when i find others who can see the irony of the details the way i do.

i, too, am someone who usually spends a lot of time in my office. this summer i have made it a point of being very 'out of the basement' on the weekends. it is all the more technicolor when you get out.

enjoy it all

being outside in the sun while the rest of the work is under the flourescents in a cube. that's why I love being an at-home dad.

Nice eyes. Spotting that newspaper type I mean. And otherwise.

I'm glad you like the shot! One of the little things that reminds to go outside and see the world. But not today, there's lighting out there!

Wow, wicked good shot!
